Hey Guys. Check out this new Coaster. Tsunami at some international park. I thought Wooden Roller-Coasters were meant to contain mostly wood. Thus the name "Wooden Roller-Coaster". From what i have heard is that the only Non Metal substances are the nails and track. Correct me if i'm wrong. Well anyway, here's the link. The Coney Island Cyclone, probably the most famous wooden coaster in the world, is also a wood-on-steel build. There are dozens of coasters like this around the world, and became particularly popular when CCI were still around. It's far more maintenance friendly and is good when there are obstacles below.

Would anyone know how much of the Scenic Railway is steel after the re-development of LPM? I didn't notice any steel when i went in october of last year but then again I wasn't really trying to find steel anyway.

Was the cyclone originaly have steel supports or did they come in later.

They're original on Cyclone. Scenic Railway is as wooden as it's always been. There may be the odd steel reinforcement here and there, but I'm not seeing the link between a recent redevelopment and steel.

Cornball express is entirely out of steel from what I can remember.
