To sum it up quickly, Vekoma made the flying duchman then didnt know how to get it to work. Dont see why they just didnt make the passengers load in lying down so they could get rid of the seat reclining system.

To get back to the point of this thread. The main issue with this ride would have to be capacity, and the que-style it currently has. Yes simple answer to get more people thru is to have more seats...ie second train woud be the simplest and i would assume most cost efective way to achieve this. As for the que i dont think id change much really. Only add stairs for the way out (tho im sure most use the emergency exit already am i right???) and id add stairs in the que for the ride to shortcut all the walking you gotta do to get on the damn ride...block it off when the que is large of course to stop que jumpers. To be honest im not sure that any amount of pre-ride entertainment really does anything to pass the time. You get in the que to ride the ride not stand in a que and enjoy the lights. Even if it was something good your still gunna be impaitent to get on the ride and long waits would still be and feel long. I guess in my opinion there is no substitute no matter how good compared to the real reason (the ride) that you got in the que for.

Just add some big tv's and have Jerry Springer on or something like that, That should make the waiting time go a bit faster.
