2002 Melbourne show was really great.... 2 Zippers, Rainbow, Pirate.... and others, it was great! we only had MAD MOUSE, but still it was fantastic! 2004 was an improvement, but the absence of Zipper was terrible! lets hope Shorts bring it back this year! Also hope for Rainbow of course. chris

Ummmm. This may be getting offtopic here, but does anyone know of anywhere where I can find some history of the Royal Show? Doing a Media Project on it. If you could help, just provide links, it would be really appreciated.

Most rides that appeared at Sydney will appear at the Melbourne Show. Though this will depend on the tendering and selection process that takes place. The Zipper and other great attractions were missing from the Adelaide Show last year. This is due in part to the fate Wittingslows.

Paul, which show are you referring to? If you contact the media manager at the respective show you are after, they should be able to assist. Some such as Sydney has a brief history on it's website.

I was referring to Sydneys Show. I love media so much. I have not been able to find any contact e-mails, or history on the show itself. Anyone able to assist? I have yet been able to see a contact e-mail.

BLU, wittingslow havent supplied their EX-Zipper at a show since 2002..... from then it ran at rye, and st kilda festival, and 1 lygon st festa... 2004/2005 Rye carnival had Shorts operating their zipper with wittingslow. Zipper is now in NSW, so Wittingslow have once again sold one of their most famous attractions. Also Scott, yes im talking about a HUSS PIRATE, that wittingslow owned, it operated its last royal show at the 2003 Sydney Royal Easter Show, and then after that travelled to Asia to operate at the WORLD CARNIVAL, along with Wittingslows Huss Enterprise and La Bamba. Shame to see such an awesome attraction leave Australia, and Im still hoping it will return home. chris

*Keeps rambling on* Me and Anna have some info, but it really isn't enough. Anyone know anything? I know what your going to say. "DO YOUR OWN WORK" but yeah. Be nice.
