Hey Guys, Have heard rumblings that Jamberoo is to be sold and possibly closed and that some attractions are moving elsewhere. Has anyone else heard anything? Neil

Hmmm... I have heard nothing, and i keep in close contact with the Jamberoo owners and management team, Jim and Dax Eddy. They have just been through an extensive marketing campaign, rebuilt the park image, commisioned 2 new rides for this christmas and had the best holiday period ever in the parks history last christmas with visitor numbers up 150%. I'll only treat this as a rumor but i will try and contact and confirm or deny what coasterfreak has said.

I hope not, I stil haven't had the chance to get there yet. How far away from Sydney is it?

I saw on WIN news the other night that they're spending a truckload of money upgrading it including new water attractions. So I say the only rumblings are coming from your backside on this one Coaster :P

I was at Jamberoo on the weekend, what a great park. There was a good sized crowd too. Any ideas of what the new water attractions will be? Cheers

I'd rather see some dry rides there but oh well any new ride is good, hopefully they do well.

It's going to use the natural slope of the land. Can't remember it too well. Was pissed when I saw it. Pub after work...
