I know it's not big here but who would like to see more halloween type events / attractions in Australia, either in-parks or stand-alones.

Are there actually any operating haunted houses here in Queensland?

I have been told that there is one being added in Surfers Paradice, can anyone confirm this?

the closest thing to it is draculas, and yet that is more of a comedy type place

I remember a halloween carnival/festival event in Sydney, in think it appeared two years in a row a couple of years ago but haven't heard of anything like it since. I think it was hosted by Fiona Horne.

It would be great for a theme park to host a halloween themed event don't you think?

Maybe Dreamworld will do something this year....they have been doing screamworld, could this be a sign??

Dreamworlds Screamworld doesn't really count because they do it anytime they want instead of in season.

I don't think Dreamworld could pull off anything spectacular because apart from people running round in scary suits and scary props, it wouldn't be much different from Screamworld. Maybe Movie World could pull off something good.

Movieworld Germany had a halloween event and from what i've seen online it was popular & quite good- almost up there with Universals haunts.

When Screamworld had Tomb Raider, that was TRYING to be a haunted house thing but I thought that was pretty lame. Cool exterior theming though.

luna park were having a halloween thing two years ago as we and a few of my ralys were asked to hire out our ghost trains and supply some animatronics/themeing, but it fell through they had big plans for it i think it will happen soon.
