The new amusment park in Glenelg named 'The Beachhouse' opened today! It is on the land of the old Magic Mountain site. The park consists of 3 water slides, bumperboats, bumper cars, ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and more... The Ferris wheel is i think a 40m tall London Eye style ferris wheel.

Ill have to put that on my to do list next time im over in Adelaide visiting family. So have you been to have a look? Taken photos? I tried to google it but i couldnt find a website.

hey all, i happened to go here on it's opening while visiting the place. The ferris wheel is said to be australias first single arm ferris wheel, not sure what that means... The waterslides were FANTASTIC!

A single arm ferris wheel means rather than having the wheel between 2 supports either side (like at the show, or in the style of a bicycle) the wheel is cantelivered by only one support on one side (sort of like how on a car wheel the axle is attached to one side, but not on the hubcap side)

yes the new place does have a website ... http://www.thebeachouse.net.au/ ... the new place is called the beachouse. the website doesnt have a whole lot of content though.
