No I go there often on hot summer days. Ok Ok, I live near the beach and surf all the time and am on the beach all the time, I think it may be just because I am use to the heat, because on hot summer days at the beach when friends come to the beach with me they always complain about the temp. of the sand and im fine, I have tough feet And Lisa I said that I havnt been to Wet N Wild with friends only, I said it clearly, and you the reason why.... it's because I'm only 16, my parents would never allow for me to go to queensland with friends for a week which is why I said I am going NEXT year with my friends. Sorry if that seemed like I was attacking you, I wasnt.

Yeah if you live up there you don't notice the heat as much as Southerners do. I always complain to my friends about the heat when I go up there. I know you said that and what I said was not all of us have parents to 'baby sit' our stuff so we either have to get a locker and leave our shoes in there (which is what I do) or take the risk and leave/hide our shoes at the bottom of the slides. No worries, didn't think you were attacking me and appologise if it seemed like I was attacking you cause I wasn't.

When I'm at WnW and especially in the H2O Zone, I try to walk on the grass as much as possible but if i have to go on cement I take short, really quick steps.

I would have thought that if the concrete is hot you would try to take long steps, not short ones, so you can cover the distance faster and minimise the time your feet are in contact with the ground.

Yes, but the time it takes to get your next foot in front of the other means that the first foot is on the ground longer, but if you're taking short, jumpy steps, your feet are swapping the heat load but because they're only on the ground for like half a second, it doesn't burn as much.

I've NEVER had a problem going barefoot at Wet'n'Wild and the soles of my feet aren't leathery.
