Captain Sturt Show

Hi everyone. A newbie here. This may have been convered before, but can anyone explain why Dreamworld got rid of the Captain Sturt Paddly Wheeler Show? It was always my favourite attraction at Dreamworld!

I really enjoyed the show, It was good to sit and relax for half an hour. I know my kids would of loved it when i take them there later this year. So what does it do now? Just drive around the lake??

Its a really bland ride, all you do is go on the boat and go around then get off.

I haven't done it in years, probably about 10. I can't understand the point of it now really. Ok it's good for families but they should have kept some show going on the island between the Bushranger show going and now. At Disneyland it makes sense because you can look at the stuff on Tom Sawyer's island plus the route actually has an atmosphere but not at Disneyland-wannabe Dreamworld!
