Want to work at Wet and Wild?

It seems Wet and Wild are hiring, so if any one on the coast is looking for theme park work Imagine working outdoors at a theme park where management actually insist you have fun! Well guess what? You can! Wet’n’Wild Water World, Australia’s premier water theme park is currently recruiting for lifeguards and ride attendants. Lifeguards also receive specialised training and development providing them with formal national accreditation in Senior First Aid and Bronze Medallion - valued at around $400. http://wetnwild.myfun.com.au/Park-Info/New...P-FOR-GRABS.asp

I've just rang them up and have got an interview at 3pm at MW. It's to work in the beverages area as there's no ride jobs or lifesaving jobs left.

You could always just wait a couple of weeks till that first wave of people quit, and then apply then for a ride op position, they also have a second wave of hirings closer to summer. Personally I wouldn't have the desire to do much else for seasonal work other than operations since that is the only job that is really unique or interesting...F&B work would already be available closer to home, and at least you wouldn't have that guilt of overcharging for meals :P And DW-Rulz, how did the move to Brisbane go? Did Hird and Sheedy leaving Essendon give you no reason whatsoever to remain in Melbourne ;)

Red Heal to Wet and Wild seems a long way to travel for work. Would you move closer if you got a job? Good luck with the interview.

It's Red Hill actually. Also it's for all the WVTP including seaworld resort. Yes I'd move closer to work if i was successful. However at the moment It's only till the middle of Oct (end of peak season) I have to ring between 9 and 10 tomorrow to find out if I've made it. EDIT : I wasn't successful. :(
