Hey, im planning to go to Rye sometime over the Holidays and does anybody have info on the Rye Carnival? Im mainly interested in the prices, where and when. Thanks! Michael

I'm wondering the same thing i live near there but i have no idea i think it opens at six though its the prices i have no idea about and it is quit frustrating trying to find info on it

Rye is located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. The Rye Foreshore Carnival has been operating for more than 40 years by Wittingslow Amusements (now called Amusements Australia). From what I have found it is operating this year from early evening to 11pm. The only exception is New Years Eve, after a riot on the foreshore last year has had local authorities rethink activities this year. Careerjet had a listing for ride attendants (paying $15 per hour) for The Scorpion, however, the usual AA rides are likely to be there: the Mad Mouse, the Pirate, Zipper, Matterhorn, Breakdance and a selection of kiddies rides. I am surprised that local tourism sites don't have alot of information about the carnival?
