When everyone on your page already knows what times the parks open, I guess the only thing left to post about is condiments...

Take with a Grain of Salt/second hand info hence putting it in this thread, but apparently Clark Kirby had a “state of play” meeting with staff yesterday at SW and something very big is coming late 2020 on the ride front that will change the landscape of SW quite dramatically

Here is hoping!!! They really need something good, Sea world is as everyone knows very average as of late. Gone are the days of the likes of Bermuda Triangle, Vikings Revenge even the old wild mouse coaster years back. Used to be a great place

So a Big attraction coming in 2020 to go along with the promised massive attraction coming in 2019. That sounds very promising for the park.

From Sea World: After 37 years and 27,000,000 riders, Australia's first theme park ride, the Viking Revenge Flume at Sea World has been retired. The iconic ride opened at Sea World on the Gold Coast in 1979 and is set to be replaced with a new, and exciting attraction, scheduled to open in 2019.

Strictly speaking, it wasn’t actually a Wild Mouse coaster but a Galaxi/SDC coaster. It was added to SeaWorld in 1982 and is now travelling the show circuit as Taipan. This has been mentioned in the forums many times.

But yeah Wild Mouse coaster are far different and an example has never been to SeaWorld

😊👍

Am I imagining things? i thought they'd gone quiet about a 2019 attraction for Sea World?

For sure I believe peoples' memories get all out of alignment as they enter Parkz.

Bermuda Triangle = 👍🏼👍🏼

Vikings Revenge = 💩

old wild mouse coaster years back = 💩  (hint, hint.  If you don't know the name of a ride, Parkz has a really good database)

In the 90's, there was a game show produced by channel 9 called Cash Bonanza.

THis page has a few stills from the show, which shows the audience layout and stage sets - https://australiangameshows.fandom.com/wiki/Cash_Bonanza

This page also has some of the same photos, but i think some others. i didn't check too pedantically, but either way it has pics of the showstage too - http://members.iinet.net.au/~powney/gameshow/cashbonanza2001.htm

What does SW need?

1.      A kick ass ride like Rivals.

2.      A few smaller rides to the standard of JR & SC.

I hope it'll be something more than just another fairground ride.

From what I’ve heard I doubt theming will play a big part so you’ll probably lambast the decision despite it being the best thing for the park
