When everyone on your page already knows what times the parks open, I guess the only thing left to post about is condiments...

It doesn't look like the world's greatest waterpark either - looks like something at a local swimming pool. If my local pool had something like that i'd be happy, and be TRYING to get flipped out of my tube.

The big parks are 'too' risk averse in that sense these days.

Not exactly sure where to put this, but I thought it was a interesting find.

Question, i'll be going to GC at the end of the year, and i'll be arriving in GC several hours before my hotels check-in time and was just wondering if it would be worth my time marathon-ing (from Coffs) my way up to Aussie World and the Ettamogah or just killing my time at Currumbin?

You're looking at adding another 2hrs+ travel time to get to Sunshine Coast from Gold Coast, 2hrs back again and probably peak traffic through Brisbane (starts around 3pm and finishes about 6:30pm). I'd be staying south myself.

You do have the alternative of Steve Irwin Way then through Caboolture to go back on the M1 around Morayfield. Went this way last time I headed back from the Sunshine Coast on a public holiday.
