Can anyone give me any information on this ?

Featured Replies

Oi all. I'm a bike builder and after bugging a good mate for several years he finally relented and sold me the amusement ride in the photo's below so that I can build a sidecar out of it . It's a galvanised steel bottom , fibreglass top and a red perspex windshield. Has a brand name on the front but no one can make out what the name actually says . Anyone have any information on it , who made it and what sort of ride it was off ? My mate used to have 4 of these and this is the best/last of them . The numbering on the side is 19 . A spare nose piece I have has a numbering of 6 . Was originally metalflake blue but was repainted black and the lot had the hand painted script "Batman" on the nose as well. Thanks for that everyone. I've shot a mail off to Bertazzon and with luck they can provide some information on the exact ride , history and colour scheme it originally had . As a side note . My 5 year old stepson got in strife at school because he told the class on his news day that his stepdad had bought an old spaceship and that we were going to fix it up to ride in it . Welllll , the note came home about it . thankfully my partner saw the funny side & so to redeem my little blokes name I had to go in and show the teacher the photo's to set the record straight ......

Well . Got a reply from Mr Bertazzon himself . It was originally made as a bumper Gokart but these ones have had a new lower added to them for some other purpose . BertazzonGokart.jpg
