Well I was certainly amused by the last few posts but the thread is straying so I've now removed them.

WnW Sydney is getting a LatiTube, which is an Australian made version of a flowrider:

The tube on the LatiTubes don't look as "thick" as those on the flow rider.

To me the actual water flow doesn't look as smooth as the flowrider. Not sure if that will affect how it feels to ride. Looking at the flowrider the water flow is flat where this looks like there are just multiple jets lined along the bottom blasting water straight up.

For those interested, it seems the plans on this page are more reflective of how the park is going to be laid out (The final versions in other words)

I think LatiTube should invest in a new slogan. "Everyone Gets Tubed" doesn't really sound like a selling point to me.

Hello all, another update on your Wet'n'Wild Sydney, hope you like the pictures.....

What are those funnels with a cap/lid? I have never seen anything like them before. I am guessing that there is nothing more to them, then being a like all the other funnels except in the dark, but I am just asking to make sure.

Tantrum Alley. They all sit consecutive to each other.

They are a proslide tantrum alley...There is one at watermarc banyule in Melbourne. ..they can be either open ended or enclosed. Imagine them like a minature version of the tornado, and you slide down several in a row. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaUL_u7CEC4&feature=youtube_gdata_player

One seems to be more of an orange than a red, perhaps the time of day made them look very similar. Still, why put an orange and a red slide right next to eachother?

And the green piece on the left... At least it will be colourful I guess, or can it become too colourful?

Could have possibly been a mistake made when they built the slide and made that part the wrong colour?

We did discuss this earlier - earlier photos of it showed random coloured pieces all over the shop - perhaps they've started correcting it and haven't gotten to all of it yet - there does seem to be a lot less 'mixed' pieces to what there was a month or two ago...

and the white is a wearied colour to put on a water slide
