I love that we're the internet's most sarcastic theme park forum and we're also Australian. It's so fitting, stereotypically.

Speaking, not sarcastically, when Mack stated they were working on a water coaster here in Australia, we all pretty much just assumed, yep, SW, since they had plans a while ago for one. . . . . SW, realising not long after stating that a new ride would replace BT and would have a storm theme, that just fuelled it!

It would be funny if it ended up being a Looney Tunes replacement.

Assuming they're using the down ramp in this new ride, it'd have to be redone anyway since the current down ramp is totally different to water coaster track.

Speaking of Sea World and because it doesn't deserve it's own topic, is there any reason why there is a fence across the railway crossing (circled in red)? Seems like a stupid place to have a dead end and need everyone to walk past the food/shop outlets instead (wait a minute...).

That gate's been padlocked for ages and is really bloody stupid. Everyone knows there's no train and where they expect you to walk is always crowded and congested so it's a pain in the ass to get through.

Just in case there was any doubt that this would be a Mack water coaster, RCDB have now listed it as such. Normally they would only list things when it has been announced by the park or track has arrived on site.

It was listed there about 2 or so weeks ago, but thanks for informing us haha Hopefully it's a good sign that it's been listed as a Water Coaster and not as a SuperSplash.

There's also a "Water Coaster" approval listed on the GCCC PD-Online system now.

It's been suggested to me that this won't be ready in April. I know that elaborate attractions take a while to put together, but thats 6 months away... I can't find the DA details on GCCC website - is there a fromto date on the approval?

I reckon it'll be up and ready to open on Boxing Day in a month. April next year is a big exaggeration.

One of my friends sister works at Sea World and she said it was opening Boxing Day. I wasn't suppose to tell anyone but yeah.

Sorry but I doubt a ride of this scale will be ready by Boxing Day. April to me seems like a much more realistic time frame. My opinion.
