Fox Breaks Ground On Malaysia Theme Park; 20th Century Fox World To Open 2016

Featured Replies

"Malaysian casino operator Gentings resort unit is investing $300M in Foxs first-ever international theme park. Dubbed 20th Century Fox World, a ground-breaking ceremony was held today in the Southeast Asian country that boasts a number of theme parks, including a Legoland, but no studio-branded amusement destination." Highlights from the park will include: · More than 25 acres of land, featuring more than 25 rides and attractions from media based rides, thrill rides, dark rides, to childrens rides and water rides · Rides and attractions based on Twentieth Century Fox blockbuster titles like ICE AGE, RIO, ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, PLANET OF THE APES and NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM (additional film build outs to be announced at a later date)

Looks good! And I like the chosen film properties. Promising also to hear there will be a mix of thrill, dark and water rides. Sounds like it might be worth a trip to... Malaysia

the good thing about Malaysia is in the scheme of things you can island hop to some blockbuster properties...

Disney in Hong Kong

Universal in Singapore

Fox in Malaysia

And then there's Sunway....

Good point (except for Sunway ;)). My geography is pretty poor. I have been wanting to head to Universal in Singapore for a while... and to the Adventure Cove waterpark
