+1 for the tacky camp

IMO it's not terrible. Depends what the rest of it looks like though and how/where it fits in to the rest of the theme. If it's just that hanging on the side of the building, it's kind of "meh" which is what I'm expecting, but they could stick the head on top so it can be seen from the chairlift/choppers.

See that's the one thing that seems to be lacking since the new management. While cheap passes on the whole I think have been good, I think they could stand to be a bit pricier, not like the days wherer the parks were way too expensive for what they were. Whatever we've been over it a million times. I think what's really lacking is the CEO walking through the park, seeing something tacky like that and saying 'What the fuck is that? Get rid of it!'

To be fair it doesn't appear to be finished, so it could look a lot better by opening.

Is John Menzies still the CEO? I remember he used to do walkthroughs back when we worked at SW in the early-mid 00's. Didn't see him at all when I was working there over the most recent Xmas holidays though, them again I was only there for 4 whole weeks lol.

Or seek out a group of enthusiasts online and get their opinions on the matter..

Now see there's a good idea.... get a park CEO onto the board to hear from us on issues within the park... pity nobody's ever thought of that...

John Menzies is now the Chairman of VRTP

Sea World has confirmed the opening date for Creatures from the Deep attraction on their Facebook Page. It will be opening on June the 1st

I didn't think it would be so soon. That's good. My brother is coming over for a visit on 7th June for a week, so I'll most likely see it for the first time at the same time he does.

​I was thinking the same thing. Without the mist, there's no way this would look even half as good.

Looks to be meefog in which case it's very cheap to run and maintain. Only downside is rust but as these are built to be outside I doubt that would be a problem. 

They are already publicly advertising this everywhere, despite the fact its still a week away from opening. Just saw a tram go past today with a massive "Creatures From The Deep" canvas plastered all over its side

The sneak peaks of the inside area are very promising. The image of the jellyfish hanging from the sealing with the lighting, I think looks really good.

I agree based on the photos above, it looks to be much better than I had been anticipating. However I'll have to reserve my judgement until I see it in person the week after next.

I can say I am now very much looking forward to seeing it though.

I think it looks good, it definitely looks relevant for SW.  I plan on visiting in a couple of weeks.  

I'm looking forward to this. It already looks to be miles ahead of Dinosaur Island.

They posted saying that it features movable creatures, with some being controllable. I'll be heading down tomorrow to check it out.

I have to say it does look seriously good. However it's gonna need to do more than just LOOK good. There is going to need to be sound and movement, and hopefully interactivity and unpredictability.

I'm going next Monday. Looking forward to seeing all of the above (fingers are crossed)!
