People will be glad to know that after they ride the Vintage Cars at 12am they will then be able to head over to the Rocky Hollow Log Ride and ride that as well.

Ooh yay, good to know Dreamworld are giving us some midnight fun!

Whilst we are on the subject of the Dreamworld website, I have noticed a few inaccuracies with the Dreamworld History page.

http://www.dreamworld.com.au/en/about-us/dreamworld-history

According to the timeline of events, the Steam locomotives were retired from service in 2011, not 2013 like they really were, Tailspin launched in 2013, Tiger Island in 1994. The spiel at the top also mentions that the Baldwin (red) locomotive was donated to the Woodford Railway, which is not correct, rather the Perry (green) loco was donated to that museum, whilst the Baldwin remains in park, and I'm sure there are many other examples. Whilst it is nice to see the park recognise its history (thank you!), it's a shame its not overly accurate.

Dreamworld have updated the ride opening times to suit their extended opening hours. Good to see the majority of the rides are open for most of the day.

You mean the extended trading hours that have now concluded? Last day was yesterday

Tailspin is correct at last year not 2013. Some other things I noticed include Kennyland which should be 1999, Nick Central in 2002, Stingray retiring twice (with 2012 being correct), Little Rippers in 2007, and Madagascar/Shrek in 2011.

Looks like the page has been updated ThemeparkGC, it was initially listed as 2013 (should have screenshoted it). Either way, someone is watching (hi there!) and has fixed the timeline so it sits in a neat table. Much nicer. :)

The park's new opening hours appear to be 9am according to the Dreamworld website. With rides opening at 9:30am outside of holidays / weekends and 9am on weekends. Great to see even just an extra hour of trading :)

Yeah, Dreamworld's earlier opening time is excellent. The park was really empty at that hour when I went. I managed to get onto Thunder River Rapids in about 5 minutes and the same with the log ride - unheard of! SeaWorld really messed us around with no rides starting until 10am. Movie World was okay, with rides starting at 9.30am as well. No one seemed to know about Dreamworld's earlier starting time and they processed people entering much more quickly.

so are the rapids still open early?

^According to the Dreamworld website its 12pm-4pm. It is one of the more popular rides in the park so it seems really stupid to only have to open for 4 hours. I personally think that if they aren't going to open all the rides when the park opens then it should be within the first hour.

Also I noticed that it said Nick Central opened in 2004, which is not true since it opened in 2002.

If you want to ride Gingy's Gliders on the weekend or school holidays it will open at 10am - but sadly the ride will also close at 10am, we do apologise.... :)

Also on weekends and school holidays the Giant Drop will open at 9am! But be quick as we will close it at 10am.

I tried the new pizza place for the first time. This is what you get for just under $20...

The pizza was bigger than I expected but didn't taste that great.

The Reef Diver is still sitting on the old Thunderbolt site
