What dates are Carnivale usually held? Is it April?

Carnivale is usually around Easter time. This year it was mid April through to mid May. So imagine it would be similar dates in 2017

DD and he villains area is now closed for maintenance until Novermber 19.

Fairly common for any new attraction to go down for a short maintenance period once it's run up a few miles in its gears, in this case, after its first school holidays. Nothing to be concerned about 

I was just surprised because it was supposed to be reopening today, but only just yesterday was the website updated and the date changed to add another 2 weeks

So... We have intensity Dogems still down until 21st Nov, JL3D until 14th, GL until 21st, Doomsday until 19th and Villains Unleashed until 19th...  And SDSC will be down 14th...  Looks like giving MW a miss this month  

Yeah, big downtime list for this month. I wonder why they are keeping the Villains area closed, Doomsday I can understand due to technical issues it has been having but why the entire area. Most of the figures appear to work without issue (have seen Joker/Harley not work/need a reset).

Even if the figures do not work many guests just like viewing them/taking photos with them.

From what I saw on Thursday, they are giving the whole area some improvements and TLC. There were painters doing touch-ups to the DC shop and facades. Doomsday is having new parts/theming installed as well to match the original artwork impression. 

I can only assume that will paint them black to match over coming days. 

Either way, that's what is apparently happening with the DC Super-Villians Unleashed precinct. I suspect they might have rushed it open a bit for the September school holidays, and now it's off-peak again they are putting on all the finishing touches ?

I probably do somewhere, I'll look through my albums if you like. How recent does it need to be? 

I can't see them painting those things black, when they've been installed. Surely when they would be made black during production of them.

Ahh, ok. Sorry @Gazza, this is probably the best I can offer then, given I only took a couple of pics (the other was from further away) with my S6.

Unless it was mentioned, the end of the gondola has a moulding of pointy broken bone. Its not just a flat cylinder end any more.

Well spotted Gazza, looks great. The trialed 'spear' did seem a bit much, assuming it affected performance..?

I don't think @Gazza had to 'spot' anything.
