Pokemon Go

Why?  People are getting out of the house, there are swarms of people in public people in public parks till late in the night.  I would never consider going to Broadwater Parklands after 8 till Pokemon, now it's crowded till midnight and it's full of families and groups of friends having fun together.  Despite people mostly looking at their phones, they're talking to total strangers.  Granted it's a over the top at the moment, but clearly it's a good thing

Also for those that do play, watch this on the off chance you haven't seen it yet

this is only a matter of time though - and these are adults \ teens... how easily do you think kids are going to fall for this?

I was exaggerating a bit, but I don't understand the hundreds of people collecting in a park in the middle of the night just to catch pokemon. Granted pokemon players loitering in the park provide a better atmosphere than groups of drunk teenagers loitering.

Mobile games have just always been a thing that I do when I don't have anything else to do, like when I'm on a train or waiting in line. I find the hype really strange, but perhaps I'm just old fashioned and becoming a grumpy old man too early.
