Rocky hollow log ride is having its resovour filled and testing should begin shortly. After this it will confirm whether the ride will be reopening this Thursday or soon after.

The reason for the delay is because of the large amount of leaves and dirt that have ended up in the water, after not being turned on for so long. 

Just while we are on topic, WipeOut has also been pushed back to the same date as RHLR.

Quote "Wipeout will be definitely reopening on boxing day" has now been proved FALSE.

I call bullshit.   I could've grabbed my leaf blower and cleared that mess up in a couple of hours.

Besides - the pumps that run that are quite capable of flushing out leaf litter. How much do you suppose fell into the water each and every day?

^sounds worse if you say 'closed for the rest of the year'...

Sounds worse for DW because I didn't renew my pass.  No excuses for not having the line-up ready for boxing day.

I didn’t ask for someone to go down and take photos for me... If that’s what you took out of it what I said then there is no helping you..

Sorry mate - to be fair, I think the line is 'don't ask for photos - if someone has one, they'll share it' - so he does kinda have a point.

The 3 rides currently closed at the park, Wipeout, RHLR and Shockwave are all currently scheduled to reopen on New Years Day. Which would mean that Jan 1, 2018 could be the first time that every single ride at the park have been operating at once. Come on Dreamworld, no more delays, make it happen. Start 2018 right. 

Pfft... who wants to ride water rides in summer anyways... 

It's been closed a long time now. I wonder what the problem is. Must be something pretty major.

Could it be the lap bar? As it is a single lap bar for 2 persons. If someone who is bigger sits next to someone who is smaller, the lap bar wouldn’t really hold them in. It hasn’t been an issue up until this point, but maybe they are cracking down on it now?

Like dreamworlds ok if they keep pushing back the RHLR back but MovieWorld also isn’t connected to a waterpark like Dreamworld, Dreamworld only has a gate separating the water park and Themepark when MovieWorld has Atleast 1km
