Just stopped by MW to grab some pics. Looks like the airtime hills out of the first drop is starting to get track bolted in. A few more shipping containers of track pieces arrived but I was pressed for time.

More tracks and supports have arrived, with more wooden boxes inside the containers. 

The final support for the Stengel dive has been installed now

As @Jdude95 has said, peices of track for the first drop have been installed

 

And station work continues

I must say, for all the time taken with that support, I kinda expected it to be a much better fit.

To put when @Ryande16 said in a nicer way. The engineers may have had to do tests to ensure the structural integrity of the support was not ruined if they were to cut out part of it (As they've done), otherwise they may have had to manufacture a new support in which goes around it.

No im saying that the engineers wouldn't give a shit if it looks weird as long as its safe.

...but no one said it looked weird. @AlexB simply said he thought it would be a "much better fit" which IMO is pretty valid. It looks like they've erred on the side of caution and chopped off more than they possibly had to to ensue they didn't need to send it off and do it again.

When someone is paying 30+ million they would care actually. But I think this is the cheapest and most safe option they could do without changing footings and he whole support.

Is that really the station being built? As the lift hill is right next to that opening of the structure.

The station may be more to the left of the image, as if I remember correctly there was a section of track leading up to the lift hill inside the building (based off the plans posted on here). But it does seem that as soon as you leave the building, you will be going straight into the lift hill.

To be fair seems a perfect fit now. Totally custom made. 

Its not like they just hacked a piece out. 

You wouldn't want it snug and touching because there is going to be movement/flex in that whole structure when running.

Yeah given the photo shows it actually embedded in the other support it most certainly must be the angle

To me it looks like the (I'm sure there's a proper name for it) part where the bolts connect is also cut away to allow it to sit that close.

Another piece or two of track have been installed this morning (passing over the height of the trees) leading to the first airtime hill.

Another support for the airtime hill is going in as I speak
