DW have begun adding dates for this years maintenance schedule. At this stage WWW doesn't have anything scheduled, but worth while pointing out that BuzzSaw will be closing again for maintenance next month, HWSW opening date has been pushed back again, the Dreamworld Express is closed for the next couple months and the Claw is will be closed for almost 2 months as well.

Three months downtime for the "train"? If only they had a highly reliable option instead of what they are using now!

Actually they are replacing 20 year old track in some parts of its course.

There's 100+ year old rail in place at many heritage railways. If maintained (key word) it shouldn't wear out in 20 years.

The rail in some places is approx 100 year old as well.

They are not doing trackwork, thats all I will say.

Has anyone considered that the train is in maintenance because it's the actual train that needs maintenance and not the tracks?

Why not both?

The carriages defiantly don’t need maintenance because most of the time 1 is always missing

Those damn defiant carriages. 🙄

RHLR has been unreliable lately. Constantly breaking down resulting in logs being piled up at the conveyor. It’s most likely sensors detecting two logs are to close together but it’s than drained and can take numerous days to be up and running again. Currently the log ride has been down for 4 days (according to q4u).

How do you figure? This is a flume. The boats are designed with bumpers for when they collide, and in several points on a flume, they are even permitted to. The new cages even have convenient whiplash bars installed for just this purpose too.

The conveyor is capable of controlling log release - i don't think this is the cause of the shutdowns.

Buzzsaw is going down again in 10 days. This is just a joke.
