  • Here’s the thing. This is a self contained attraction of which they’ve built plenty.  You litterally bolt it to the floor of a provided building.  So this will entirely be Dreamworlds usual

I have a vision. A Dream, if you will.

10 years from now, rather than being merely Australias biggest theme park, it could be the WORLDS biggest chill space.

In fact, to completely remove themselves from the negative association, they could even change the park name to "Chill-Space" (Quick. Trademark it now)!

It would be very cheap for Ardent to run. No staff required. No rides. Minimum maintenance. Just a lot of benches and shaded areas, and most of the shade could be provided naturally by trees!

Now people would surely come from all around the world to take selfies in the worlds biggest chill space, no?

And with the modern international obsession with taking photos of yourself, I'm only half-joking! 😅

Since you've chosen a name that is easily googled to reveal an existing product by the same name you must surely work for Ardent... If only you'd chosen a name that could be confused with a Porn star - then you could have made 'head of department'!!!

Spoke with a ride op today who said he’s ridden Sky Voyager about 20 times himself and says it’s a real game changer. (Whether or not he’s telling the truth, I don’t know)

He said it is incredible but the delay is to just make sure it’s perfect, he expected around Easter release. (My guess is for the Easter holidays so it can actually seem busy and run full cycles - as today I’ve been a sole rider on a lot of rides cycles, their is no one here)

I sat and watched the back doors of Sky Voyager for 30 mins today. Dreamworld maintenance and (I’m assuming) Manufacturers we’re walking in and out frequently, so my guess is it hasn’t been handed over yet either.

Sky Voyager will NOT be open by Easter. 😂

I've have also been told the likelihood of it being open for Easter would be a long shot also @Evie   The information I'm getting is the 25 million allocated to get DW rock 'n' rolling again has been spent.  The cupboards are bare and DW have nothing to show for it.

So what/how much more is it going to take to get SV open? (Is the 25 million dollar question!)

This is turning out to be one Damn expensive Flying Theatre. Maybe they should have put it at Southbank. At least it would have been open by now.

Mickey, from the outside a man would be forgiven in thinking DW have given up.

Wipeout final closure during its standard maintenance stinks of "it's going to cost us how much to keep it gong?  Close it down".

Dreamworld Express closed for 5 months stinks of "it's going to cost us how much to keep it gong?  Put it in maintenance".

WhiteWater World expansion stopped during op works stinks of "we have no money left?  Close it down".

Sky Voyager not opening stinks of "DW unwillingness to get the job done".

And in the meantime they are fast running out of product to sell, there are only so many rides you can close before people completely stop bothering (especially the current ticket price). At this point I'd consider the waterpark to be their core attraction, everything else is a bonus...

When Dreamworld has such poor graphic design you can tell that they just took a random font off Dafont, gave it a small drop shadow in photoshop and used it for their ride logo. Nice job DW. A person with a basic understanding of Photoshop can make this in about 5 minutes.

https://www.dafont.com/airstrike.font , there's the font for your interest. I use a modified version of it for my youtube channel, funnily enough.

Either way, the launch event is a good sign towards this ride finally opening. Remember people, this will more than likely be Dreamworld's last ride they build, so get to the park for this never to be repeated event.

Predicted opening is APR 6,7, or 8.

Well the last prediction was for Boxing Day and that was by the park that built it so...

The official staff launch party for Sky Voyager was last night. Meaning skyvoyager is ready to ride. Predicted opening is APR 6,7, or 8.

Last night wasn’t the launch party for Sky Voyager, it was for something unrelated. They were just using the staff who happened to be there for this event for mock guests for training purposes.

Where were these images even obtained from? I don’t believe there is any prediction for the attraction to open early April considering we’ve already been told it won’t be open for the holidays...
