Looks amazing at night.... but that cycle. Like really?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really hope the cycle they actually run with guests is more exciting than the test cycles we've seen.

I get the feeling that’s the cycle we’re getting for opening, it’s also a quick cycle which will help push the numbers through quicker with the slow loading and tech issues that come with a new ride.

Apparently Sunday we shall see people having a ride, it may have changed with all the storms and rain this week, but I’d be heading out Sunday and just hanging around

Not sure if this has been posted but the pot plant blocking the path is gone and 2 very very temporary fences are there.

This type of fence screams ready to be removed at a moments notice

Why is VRTP always have to be so cheap they have to use these as temp fences

Wait - so you think TFH panels, in concrete bases, buckled together, and covered in a vinyl print of the most boring thing imaginable is better than a simple little aesthetically pleasing and unobtrusive pool fence?

The pool fences are aluminium, lightweight, easily moved. They're the modern day equivalent of the 'rope' used to close an area. They allow guests to see into the area, and blend into the surrounds. Clearly Vortex is close, and they don't want big heavy ugly barriers to try and move during the operating day when they're ready to let people in.

There is promising news that vortex will open for it's media launch Tomorrow (21st of Dec) and following that it will be open to the General public which seems realistic

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Confirmed launch tomorrow, couple of key quotes from the article:

Mr Randhawa said the ride offered thrillseekers a dramatically different experience to other attractions.

“It has three different speeds and it is a really immersive experience because once you are elevated there is water all around you,” Mr Randhawa said.

And what does this mean exactly? Is it going to operate three different types of ride cycle throughout the day? Will there be 3 queue lines depending on what kind of 'speed' you want?
