Dreamworld launches more monster-sized family fun

Featured Replies

I was in Melbourne last weekend, and they had the same obstacle course at Melbourne Esports Open around where Rod Laver Arena is. Gave it a try and it was appealing even to adults. I think it'll be quite popular.

Sounds like a very well thought out event. If it is held in the evenings it will provide a child and family friendly alternative to Movie Worlds Fright Nights.

Could fill a gap in the market and become a very good annual event.

Can anyone share the link to book Happy Halloween online please?

I phoned Dreamworld this morning as I didn't receive the email with the link. The lady who answered wasn't much help!

Appreciated, but there's a specific link for passholders to get the free ticket.

Yep, and it's that one. Have a read.

Passholders receive One (1) free Happy Halloween ticket via clicking "Use my Points" in the checkout process.

I've seen that but there is no "use my points" option in the checkout process!

I've tried several times!

Add the $19 ticket to cart, click checkout.

Then use my points is on the Booking Summary page.

I might be still missing something, but I can't see a $19 option, only $29. I'll try a different browser and see if that helps!

Well. I had to jump through numerous virtual hoops, but I have finally got my ticket!

I won't go into all the boring details here for fear It'll somehow make certain people feel even more ill, but if anyone's having similar difficulties just send me a PM and I'll do my best to help out (which is normally one of the benefits of forums!)

  • 2 weeks later...

I checked into Dreamworld today and gave The Monster a go

I must say I was really surprised with how fun I had with this, it’s definitely not just for the kids, I saw a lot of parents/adults getting a kick out of it and I found it took a lot of energy out of you if you try to speed run the course.

Do give this a try if you are heading into the park for the next two weeks, especially worth it if you are a Passholder as you get free admission, or if you are popping into the Happy Halloween events, which I will certainly be attending

Anyways enjoy some unedited photos on my end 😊
