Basically a top hat is a section in a rollercoaster where the coaster goes upwards, over the top and drops straight down

funny as it may seem a "top hat" actually kinda looks a simmilar shape to a tophat youd see someone wearing....kinda like a cork screw looks like a cork screw - where do they make up these crazy names??

How ironic.

: a top hat coaster would be cool but wat would they theme it as ?

Well, at least we know its definitley going to be a steel coaster, its in the park database. Rabid, do you know if this new coaster will be opening in september, or on boxing day. Fingers crossed for September.

I think "Fingers crossed for September" is the rides unofficial tagline.

So,it's a steel coaster, rumored to be a top hat coaster and it's most likely going to be here in September.I'm happy

I looked through the movie world website but couldn't see anything, where is this "park database" Gazza?

Dont let Richard hear you say that.

I think any large coaster would be appropriate for Movie World (except for what they already have), and what type of top hat coaster might it be? An intamin accelerator coaster or a Lim launched inverting one like Batman & Robin; the chiller?? So how do people like Rabid know about all of this info anyway?? Rabid, you said that all 4 are doing something, are they all rides? Cause that'll be new for seaworld if they are!! If Movie World were going to get a flat ride (which would be fine for the park), I reckon it should be like the hammerhead at Knotts berry Farm, or a top scanner ride (Samurai at Thorpe Park) or a themed Booster (Seen at Shows and fairs).

Rabid works for Warner Village. ^

Take a look at this. www.nfn.com.au/Photopages/Photo36.htm. It's a pretty recent aerial photo cause you can see Wild West Falls. I can see plenty of room at the back for a big coaster which will blow us away!

And in the top corner you can see WEt n' Wild

on nine gold coast news tonight they annouced to the public the name . So here the next parts of the puzzle I give you. Name: Superman Type: Steel Layout: would like to tell you but its more fun to keep you guessing

Launch. Tophat. Brakes. Yay.

^there a bit more then that to it

Station. Launch. Tophat. Brakes?

Awesome, overbanked turns???? *fingers crossed*

So your all pointing towards Intamin? What about a launched vekoma coaster "superman the ride"at Walibi World formally Six Flags Holland in the Netherlands? http://www.rcdb.com/ig769.htm

Does movieworld germany(or did it now that it is closed)have a superman or batman coaster added recently?
