Well guys, today is the day. LPS finally opens and I'm going. Anyone else going?

Sadly not, but I'm looking forward to seeing plenty of great photos throughout the day!

I'd love to be able to attend but unfortunately I'm still unable to enter Sydney until November 1st. Be sure to get lots of pictures!

Are you planning on riding Big Dipper at the end of the year?

I’ll be there tonight. Hopefully I can get some snaps in between rides. Bit of a shame to see Sledgehammer under maintenance still but obviously something going on in the background there. I’ll try and put together a quick TR when I get home.

Yeah, will do a quick little weekend trip down for sure. Depending on the cost of car rentals I'll probably do Jamberoo as well if Velocity Falls is ready.

Is SH under maintenance or is it just a glitch because a lot of other rides are under maintenance?

Sledgehammer was testing the other day (it does a full 360 rotation which is wild) but last night it seems that it was down. No official reason has been given as of yet, but considering it was down last night means that likely its not a glitch which is a shame cause it looks like a wild attraction.

I will be working on rides tonight, can’t wait to see the park thriving once again

You can get to Kiama on public transport.

Probably won’t go till BD opens. Which shouldn’t be too long from now

So 9 News did a story last night on Luna Park before they reopen. I think it's safe to say, judging by the mere banner they have for "Luna Land", as opposed to the proper signage in the concept art, money genuinely really is tight with them atm and so theming has had to take a back step. https://fb.watch/8NTy22YqPl/

No idea what particular attraction, as they tell us when we get there. It will be Rockin, inside or outside Coney Island, Tango Train attendant or Loopy Lighthouse. Those are all the rides I’m trained on haha. If you see a guy masking a beard, with a name tag that says “Gabriel”, that’s me haha.

I visited the park today (Luna Land) and took some pictures before tonights first Halloscream event. 

 

I can't help but think they are going to have an amazing summer. The pent up demand must be huge AND the new offerings has that 'perfect storm' vibe about it. Looking forward to visiting in February.

I’m surprised with that banner. I wonder if it’s temporary?

They do. They have to. There are heritage orders on. It’s and the operators must maintain both rides. 

Opening day today for general public. Sledgehammer and wild mouse not open. Not really acceptable

Good ride selection. Shame it's just all so ugly 

Why are staple rides down for maintenance? You’d think they’d at least have Sledgehammer, a new ride, open on opening day

Yeah I was on the ride when it went down, came into the station and the ride E-Stopped. From what we think based on what maintenance did to get us unstuck we think the gate sensor got shook out of placed and stopped the ride.
