Well, I never thought I would say this but the WACA in Perth is getting a pool and two waterslide as part of a $100 million dollar make over. While getting a two waterslides a stadium is unique, one of the slides will wrap around a light pole. Imagine watching the footy while going down a waterslide.

The water slide in the concept looks to be a tunnel style slide, so I hope you have x-ray vision.😂

Might be looking at it wrong but it seems transparent to me.

I don't know how many transparent slides get built.  I know there is one on a cruse ship but I can't recall another.  A person who loves a slide is @Gazzaso he might know.

 

 

It looks like they just chucked a transparent material on in the rendering software.

I bet it'll just be one of the standard translucent colours, not proper Perspex.

I'm thinking it would be hard to keep a standard slide clear for very long.

Would get scuffed and scratched, over time for sure thanks to the rafts and foreign objects.

For sure.  I wonder if they thought this through. If I'm at a sporting event downing beers and sitting in 🏃‍♂️ water.  I might get the sudden urge to relieve myself.🙃

Oh to be half-naked at a sporting event going down a see-through water slide with drunk people getting on the beers...

Wonder how well that'll work out.
