  1. Hehe.... Oh the irony!!! In a little while, we will all be saying that the Mack argument is getting on in years.....

  2. I am 100% certain Mack are involved, since they would have had to come out here to collect the Scenic Railway trains, might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.......

  3. Volcano will be kept and the Bermuda Triangle building to for the new ride.

  4. Is demolition being done on the Volcano or are they keeping it for the coaster? It'd be nice if it were a well themed, enclosed water coaster like the one at Sea World Orlando rather than an open one like Poseidon at Europa Park, however the latter unfortunately is more likely.

  5. Hi "Funpier", Yes...I was one of the kids that went to the local shops for staff lunches. The maze at Kings cross was called the "Minitour's Maze", was next to the wax works. Funshows Pty Ltd also owned the Manly shark aquarium (next door to the Fun Pier with the big sharks head as the entry) and were part owners of Manly Marineland. The picture used as my ID (above left) was taken when I was 16 and working at Marineland. Lots of memories from the pier...most good. Still, if I had my life to live again...would do it all the same.

  6. Hello all. Just thought I'd let you know that today was a huge success. Flight got in early, drive to MW only took 40 minutes got Superman, Arkham, GL, JL, spooky coaster and wild West done in an hour and a half. Saw most Main Street shows, stunt driver and then rode Arkham once more and Superman twice more. Awesome day, will definitely do it again some time. I think the Gold Coast 600 being on today kept crowds down. At the airport now waiting for flight home.

  7. Lol did you ride Scooby on the night? I bet you really enjoyed the unique night time experience of an indoor coaster.

  8. I just have to add I don't appreciate my name being slid into your comments Richard. We have a basic disagreement of almost all matters we have discussed on these threads. So I respectfully request you refrain from using my comments, in or out of context moving forward. I enjoy hearing opinion, stories and ideas. I enjoy reading and researching historical and contemporary information but i think for now I may just go back to being a silent reader of the forums for now
