Your on-the-ground update for the week, Saturday the 3rd of June, 2017. Lit-up fence toppers! Preparatory work is underway on the pillars for the rest of the fence (section shown below is underneath Stengel Dive) - Not a great photo, but it was the most obvious of all of the pillars; and it's proof of progress on the fence Anyway, onto construction updates; work on the loop entry is progressing. and now for the two comparison shots; back to the dusk shots, next two weeks will be day-time (assuming I can still get to the park)

This is probably the wrong place to post this but I'm literally about to book flights to gold coast from Melbourne and just wanted an opinion whether Movie world would be busy October 24-28 which is a Monday to Thursady. Or should i hold off for a little longer? So far the plans fly up monday Movie world Tuesday Wet n wild Wednesday Movie world Thursday Fly home Thursday nights

Just curious what you mean by confirmed? By the park in an official capacity? By the ride manufacturer? Or by the supplier of the paint used? I suspect you could get three different, perfectly valid answers there...

The one thing i was looking forward to most in 2020 (I'm a bigger arcade gamer than i am cinephile or revhead), aaaaaaaaand it's gone.

Had a pleasant afternoon at The Maze. They were testing the water for Outback Splash. It seems that there are no plans for the water park extension for this summer. The park is looking very green and pretty at the moment. Also caught the 'meet the joey' session. Scoopon has $12 tickets at the moment.

Checked out the area today, looks very nice and open. Couple of people were being served when I was there and the food looked very nice. This is also now the exit from DW, and they've blocked the LEGO Store entrance from the park with one of the figures. But can be entered from inside the Parkway

These containers have Mack crates in them, crane is moving more supports onto site. Couple smaller supports behind fence installed for lift hill

Image shown is what the park really needs and a shame there doesn't seem to be any plans to actually build it.

A big full circuit 'beast' esque coaster could utilise the land whilst still loading close to the rest of the park though.

I guess they gave up on constantly moving the dates so they just took them away instead.

I have a feeling that MovieWorld might announce it today since it is there 26th birthday. (50% Chance)

It has been confirmed that the track colour is "Fuschia"... Sorry but you just have trust me on this one...

Maintenance schedule was removed from the TOT on the Dreamworld website and is listed as closed. Strange...
