Heres a slightly better mock up of my idea, obviously the right side would have to be done as well to keep it symmetrical. I don’t it would cost too much to implement and I think it makes a big difference.

I think this is a great marketing technique, especially because it's descriptive but relatively non-obtrusive and (I'm guessing and hoping) that you only receive the message once a day.

Interesting marketing campaign/activation. Im at SW, and it’s lunch time and I just got this message on my phone. To be honest I think this is the type of marketing that works well and all parks should employ, they have your mobile number so once you scan in with your annual pass you get offers valid for the day.

So what ride is everyone looking forward to this summer? SkyFlyer or SkyVoyager? 😜 I wonder how many people will forget which ride name relates to which Gold Coast theme park and/or what ride type. It makes me wonder if VRTP just tried to make SW's new ride as similar to DW's new ride as possible without actually being the same ride. Maybe also Wet 'n' Wild Gold Coast will get an expansion with a revamped Calypso Beach and/or Whirlpool and/or Giant Wave Pool and MW a new dark ride?😉 Strange how the joke I made a fortnight ago nearly became true:

The coronial inquest into the Thunder River Rapids incident resumes in Southport on Monday the 12th of November. It will be held everyday (presumably excluding weekends), starting at 10am, until Friday the 23rd of November where it will presumably adjourn again until the 17th of December, when an extra, originally unscheduled 5 days of coronial inquest hearings will be held due to Ardent Leisure delivering requested documents late earlier in the coronial inquest.

Which is literally the nicest thing that can be said about it; it's at least something. I'll also say the 120cm height requirement is reasonable too, but yeah placement is horrible it's uninspired, cheap, and to be honest, just lazy.

It's an impressive cast, which should make up for the loss of Bluey.

Be interesting to see if those trees block the view of the show building in a few years. In any case that's the side of the ride, not the front. The front of Scooby should at least be up to its own standard. To be honest I don't hate it. Obviously it looked better with the tree but it's pretty 'meh' to me. Just the line about how it's the movies doesn't hold any water.
