Precisely one piece of track left and about 3 columns. Should be done by the end of today I reckon. 🎢🎢🎢💯

They are adding more support structure for BD as I type this, and there has been more track installed as well. IMG_2205.MOV

Final track being installed this morning

Here's a couple pics from today, Asphalt has been laid around all of Big Dippers concrete footings, Sledgehammer does have a lighting package only on the 4 supports and the Hair Raiser also received a new lighting package that is really cool like the Ferris wheel but i don't have pics of that just yet, Hopefully Sunday or Friday i can get something, What i think is Boomerangs ride photo camera was being installed today and the bug canopy is almost complete and displays the sledgehammer sign on it, And of course as posted earlier we now have more BD track installed

New sign

Difference is, this is celebrating the parks history. The parks history is that logo that is on the front archway, not a gaudy sticker that has the parks logo in small print. And yes, I hate the white Christmas and fright night sticker signs as well.

I usually don’t mind having a sign there, but I think as it’s a celebration of the park, they should’ve kept the normal sign visible. The banners either side would be a enough

Currently at the opening of SX 360, got here at 5 pm. VIP went on first ride, was on for second ride but ride has broken down we were on and off for last 30mins but seat sensors keeps failing. Will post it and when ride is working again. Dingo racer should be opening September/October

A 3D version of the 30th logo, attached jauntily on a corner of the main logo would have been a really classy touch. Someone in the sign shop loves their new digital sign printer a bit too much these days.

All 8 logos for the rides opening next week

Has their been any marketing or offical announcement about ‘Dingo Racer’? I didn’t even know that’s what it was called until tonight

Rode last ride(sx360) of the night, staff put on best setting, 4 times upside down. Spoke to maintenance and staff and they asked for idea of when to use best setting and after talking they are thinking of running one rotation early in the day and four rotations later in the day.

yes, they do the same shit every night event - cover the traditional archway in gaudy signwriter's steel, and for this event, which is the biggest ever, AND for the 30th anniversary - bigger is better - so they SHOULD have done more than the same shit they do every night event.

Do Mack do pull throughs? I don't rememeber Rivals having a pull through

Final piece of track will be installed Monday morning

They do similar things for white Christmas and fright nights, so it’s not like it’s the first time they’ve covered the logo It’s their biggest parade ever and their biggest event ever AND it’s for the 30th anniversary, so I reckon bigger is better in this situation, just my opinion and my opinion is I LOVE the setup
