  1. This is next level stuff.
  2. I think they have always been optional.
  3. Your intelligence should understand what I was getting out. I've seen ride manufactures say, seat belts are totally unnecessary and are sometimes installed to make the guest feel safer at the park's request. Do people really think Mack is only installing safe coasters in Australian parks?
  4. I don't know any Rapids ride that removed 2 out of 3 boards on a lift hill to take the weight off the motor. (This is an Australiana thing) If they had copied everything from overseas on the design, DW maybe wouldn't be treading water right now. Anyway, you can't use DW as an example because DW didn't listen to anybody. I don't really know why you are telling me about Corkscrew locking system?
  5. I can't remember. I always close my eyes in the disco room. /s
  6. Make operations so bad it forces people to spend more money to ride a ride they have already paid to ride is genius. It's like people haven't played Roller Coaster Tycoon .😂 Unnecessary safety procedures.
  7. It's defiantly in MW,SW, & DW's interest for people to buy fast passes.
  8. So you wouldn't ride a ride anywhere in the world that doesn't have a seatbelt attached too?
  9. Around 475 amusement parks in America but apparently Australia knows better.
  10. Mirror balls and slow dancing, those were the days.😀
  11. Checking restraints is not rocket science. Rides have more advanced safety system then they ever have had before and it’s probably the only industry in Australia that don’t take advantage of it. Corkscrew was a great example of people manually having to lock and unlock the restraints and I would wager a bet the people who operated Corkscrew in the 80’s could load and unload a train faster then would ever happen on Rivals today. @Gazzais right.
  12. It's been mentioned before that some people believe certain parks purposely slow operations to reduce maintenance and operational cost.
  13. Every car is going to have an upcharge for backward seating at a guess. /s
  14. The rumour I've heard is SDSC is being shut down earlier then planed. Just a rumour👀.
  15. From being privileged to go to DW in the early years it wasn't the attractions that made DW great. It was the atmosphere DW created. Something DW could easily recreate.
  16. I rode just after it just reopened from maintenance and I thought SDSC was starting to get rougher than a badger's bum. So it's great MW want to improve the experience.
  17. Scooby would be a great loss to MW if they ever closed it down permanently.
  18. The Thunder River Rapids is up there not because it was a great rapids ride but because DW has ruined it for everyone, and I can't see Australia getting another one or at least not for a very long time.
  19. I like some Arrow coasters. X is a great coaster but coat hanger coasters like Gold Coaster 😴
  20. Arrows almost went bankrupt 2 times before X but X turned out to be the last nail in the coffin.
  21. Parks stopped buying Arrows coasters so what does that tell you?
  22. I was just carrying on with the joke @joz but I see you don't have your fun hat on today. 😃
