Given one suggestion is theming for current construction, and the other is hints to possible future attraction(s), and the fact that @reanimated35 has just been on the Star Tour, I find its more likely they were told about an attraction being built, than several that would clearly not have been signed off yet... therefore.... Brad is right.- Wild West Falls Refurbishment
I heard they're putting in some new fountains.... and toilets.- Which park has the best amenities?
Yeah given this isn't even three years ago, and this site has (in some form or other) been going since 2003- theres a decade behind this topic to wade through...- Star Tour All Access Pass - Behind the scenes at Movie World
I've been in the cinema\training room that used to be a gremlins cinema for a future of fun focus group. It certainly doesn't look as glamorous as it used to, but it lives on.- Sea World updates 2016
I like that they've extended the games building to incorporate the drink station, rather than the portable stand. it means they'll be able to put in a soda fountain instead of selling bottles only.- Star Tour All Access Pass - Behind the scenes at Movie World
I heard that the bugs bunny group shot had to be paid for separately?- DCA Tower of Terror -> Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!
That's a great read, and perfectly explains why Disney has had some limited exposure with marvel characters in florida too.- Jamberoo Action Park Expansion

Seeing that makes it obvious how bad the paint job really was looking. I mean we could all see it, but the before and after just shows how bad it was. I'm glad they took the step to do it now, rather than waiting for another year.- Finally getting my passport! Yay!!!!
why did ROTM affect Scoob? I mean I get they're both dark ride coasters, but they're very different... not disagreeing with you just curious how you took that view.- Tiger Island Refurbishment - Dreamworld 2016

My syndicate had a win on Wednesday lotto. $16.95. Split 13 ways. I only need another 153 wins and i'll be able to book mine.- Wonderland Sydney 2.0
Although I question the merits of them installing a boomerang, for some there is the nostalgia value that will mean it still has its place in a new park - many parks around the world still have boomerangs... however I doubt you'd see the original model brought back to sydney. If anything it'd be sourced from another park or purchase a new one direct from Vekoma.- Finally getting my passport! Yay!!!!
never heard of the spaghetti chase, but i think you missed the pteradactyl flyer coaster they have in JP land too...- Wonderland Sydney 2.0
if nothing else, you gotta be happy they're using better concept art than the original site concept.- The Off Topic Topic
Well, since we're talking about park sites not keeping with the times - I just want to point out that Wonderland had FIVE webcams live on their site in 2001. I think this point is going to garner plenty of interest here. Many parks use webcams on their site - especially for construction watch. If anyone at VRTP is watching - you guys need at least to get a webcam set up for your coaster construction - stick it on Batwing or Green Lantern overlooking the coaster site - THAT would build hype... but other than that, stick one on main street, and maybe another one overlooking wild west or Doomsday or both.- Wild West Falls Refurbishment
I wanted an exaggerated 'heaps of signs in one place' photo to respond to your post - but now i've got this one here, i'm just trying to figure out how a pig, a set of boobs, and a peace symbol come together - and then I realised its done as a joke. Now I want to see the rest of the signs on the roundabout...- DCA Tower of Terror -> Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!
Thats a preview screening, not an attraction. I'm not aware of the specifics of the license, but airing a condensed preview film (as opposed to say one of the 4D films where it IS a ride unto itself) is probably the difference here. I still don't see a themed attraction as such.- The Off Topic Topic
To answer the main question - I only visit village or ardent sites to purchase tickets, and only when they have a better offer than places like groupon or local social clubs. I don't visit them for content unless i'm checking maintenance pages or height restrictions. The reason is simple - they don't offer anything in the way of content that i can't get anywhere else - Parkz delivers what I want to see, and if the website comes up with something interesting (such as when they launch a new product like Star Tours, or their seasonal products like FN and WC) its usually posted on the Parkz Forums for me to direct link to. TL:DR - the GC parks sites are shit, but I don't think it really matters.- Wonderland Sydney 2.0
Absolutely agree, and Ammar, and David are both still committed to getting this going.- DCA Tower of Terror -> Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!
Sounds like semantics, but a special after hours appearance, as opposed to a themed attraction or a regular day-guest appearance does seem like a different thing.- DCA Tower of Terror -> Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!
Have they appeared on the resort property, or have they appeared INSIDE a park. Universal's license relates to theme parks ONLY. They don't have any rights outside of the parks themselves. As I understand it, the Florida monorails at Disney received a wrap for Guardians (might have been a different marvel franchise tho?), but these wrapped monorails were restricted to resort lines. they weren't run on any monorails that entered INSIDE park property. - Doomsday Destroyer - 2016 Movie World construction
