  1. Update - Renewals will rise to $119 from November 23. You can renew your pass prior to then if it is expiring within the next 30 days.
  2. Saver remains the same, Value $119 > $129 and Locals $129 > $149. Renewals remain at $99 for a Locals Pass. They have joined VRTP in One Day park ticket for an adult being $105. WWW is no longer included in the one day ticket and needs to be purchased separately or as part of a multi-day pass.
  3. My thoughts are similar to last year, $220 is not to much to pay for a Season Pass and it's good and smart of them to not price shock existing renewals by only doing a $10 increase. I just hope we see investment in the park continue and things don't move backwards and are neglected (see Scooby, DC Villains Unleashed, JL Ride) Funny you should say that... Dreamworld just increased ticket prices (although not to the levels of VRTP) 😆
  4. Don't forget the World's Greatest Admission Costs... *well fairly close I'm sure
  5. Admission prices have risen drastically. A one day ticket has broken the $100 barrier and is now $105 for Sea World/Movie World, holiday tickets that previously increased $10 or so have jumped $30 or more. A new locals One Pass has gone from $189 to $219, renewals only $189 from $179.
  6. I think its a very fair assumption that the Dreamworks license is going in the not too distant future, the shop is currently being gutted/under construction and some of the character statues are looking shocking.
  7. I don’t have any issue with the design of the hotel apart from the rake on the side. I wish they licensed WB for the hotel, Abu Dhabi shows that a WB Hotel can be executed well. I’m sure the hotel will do well and be successful overall but “Hotel V” and the Oxenford site to me is not enough of drawcard to stay away from Surfers.
  8. *cough* Movie World Thanks for the update, WNW is a rare visit for me but good to see what’s happening.
  9. Village themselves have a good guide on how to use it although it is somewhat hidden. Worth noting that you can only book while inside the park. https://themeparks.com.au/download-app/virtual-queue Virtual Que does fill up very quick, it generally is opens/is ready for booking from 10AM. They have not turned it off during busy periods recently (and they shouldn't as it is an advertised ticketing inclusion). It's worth checking periodically throughout the day too even if it is full as more slots do open up.
  10. Great theming/surrounding area when it opened, left to degrade and have effects break and now is an embarrassment. Ride is a meh, loading times largely make the ride not worth it in my opinion.
  11. Speaking to crowd numbers last night wasn’t sold out in the traditional sense, like they have done in previous years they mark a night as “sold out” to encourage future sales. Despite what the FAQ said too they did have tickets at the gate for $20 higher.
  12. https://frightnights.com.au/event-info/entertainment-schedule Entertainment schedule has been posted, now we just need the park map 😄 Glad to hear some entertainment and Live Music confirmed. I do wish they would return to utilising the HSD arena for a large show.
  13. These rides have test seats at Dreamworld. - Steel Taipan - Claw Motocoaster definitely used to, but I don’t recall seeing it on my last visit.
  14. In my experience of the last few months riding Scooby The initial “projection walls” have been out for awhile, in addition to multiple screens in the lift. The final Tiki Island screen has been inconsistent, sometimes working, sometimes a still display without the scare and other times off. They really should just redo it with more flame resistant theming in the initial Ghost Train section imho.
  15. If there are still over 1hr waits for mazes and you end up in a conga line of people going through negating the experience of properly being frightened it's by no means worth the ticket cost. Considering how money hungry VRTP have been in many ways recently I doubt however the ticket caps are lower than previous years. The event has been decreasing in quality and value in recent times, I have discounted tickets for the first two nights and am not confident they will be worth it.
  16. $35 Adults and $20 Children (3-13) Glad to see it back, they shared on Instagram as “Limited Time Only”. Going to guess seasonal if these holidays are successful enough.
  17. Im certainly one to hold the park to account, but I’m giving them a pass on this one, I feel they are waiting on equipment or advice from MACK or something. They know how much the ride is needed in general and the poor perception of the park when it isn’t operating. I doubt they are dragging their feet.
  18. I’m guessing the same as 2019, two mazes in the same shed originally designed for one.
  19. For clarification the VIP experience price excludes entry. It also has risen in price, was $69 for passholders last year. Difference to MW being I have no doubt it is worth it/value for money. Based on doing it last year vs FN 2019.
  20. I do recall this, there was a short period where there was a small discount on one day tickets due to the amount of scheduled maintenance with ticket validity being restricted to that time rather than the usual 12 months. I think that's a smart move from the park when there is a lot of maintenance. I honestly don't think either MW or SW have enough to justify their one day ticket prices at $99 online or $109 at the gate.
  21. A new upcharge/experience coming to the park late September and will be operating during Fright Night. https://www.darkfield.com.au/seance https://www.darkfield.com.au/flight
  22. I’m just happy they didn’t say “world class” attractions. Definitely think a water ride and ABC Kids (likely Bluey) are the most need attractions.
