The most recent FT wristbands were individual QR codes and verified so metrics were still available. I see the opposite a QR code on a phone is much easier to share with different individuals than a wristband that should be securely fastened/unable to be removed.

Don’t think anyone is under the delusion that it adds capacity to the ride itself. Just that they balance the general que with the fast track que and that potentially this will mean more Fast Track is sold as this “allocation” (if you prefer) is now free. Yes they could simply leave it to the general que but I doubt this when Fast Track is selling out. As per the Fast Track thread “leaks” you can see a paid Virtual wait was an option they were exploring last school holidays.

Yeah I have witnessed this during school holidays. I was speaking of offpeak days when it runs empty 90% of the time.

Those that knew it existed/how it worked benefited greatly, and even those that were late to the party often still could find capacity later in the day. Considering I'm fairly confident VRTP will now simply put all that previous VQ capacity into Fast Track those that aren't willing to pay for Que Priority simply miss out during peak periods. This, I feel their FT pricing is high as but I can't begrudge them charging $40 for a Rivals One Shot Fast Track during peak when it sells out. I just wish they would apply suitable off peak pricing to Backwards DCR like they do for FT so it doesn't run empty.

Perhaps they are auditing the scans and checking cameras to ensure fairness if deemed necessary. My rides yesterday still haven't credited so possibly there is some manual intervention. The point is more they advertised it as a feature to a product (and was fairly simple to fulfil) missed it, and then edited the website. Worth noting too the terms for the Levi quest state it stared on the 18th of July.... this would suggest possibly it took a bit longer to get running than initially anticipated. Out of curiosity I wonder how much is outsourced, we know VRTP was attempting to hire a NFT expert and the platform itself is obviously built upon BlockTrust.

This right here.Definitely think Doomsday should be scrapped and wouldn't mind it in theory moving to MW especially if they have it running with a better cycle. But reliability wise in my experience it's closed more often than it's operating.

Fast Track for the School Holiday period is now available online $179 now. No more wristbands, they have specified you must use the app. With the discontinuation of VQ and the "testing" that I posted above in this thread it wouldn't surprise me if they plan to launch these new options then.

They have actually done another dodgy here and quietly updated the Website to state White Christmas and Carnivale rather than all the events. I’m positive FN was previously specified. As a keyhole who planned to ride Levi a fair few times today anyway I thought I would try out the “quest”. Here are the self scan stations in between photo screens. Cant comment on the virtual creatures yet as none of the scans yet have registered to my Village Key account.

Already heard a variation of “due to guest feedback”. People hate not having to wait in physical ride ques.

Can confirm in park today that physical signage has been altered and have confirmed with Guest Services that it has been discontinued. References have been scrubbed from ThemeParks The fact is it was a ticket entitlement and an advertised inclusion, my basic understanding of consumer law would be pass holders would be entitled to refunds if so inclined.

Also worth noting the “early access to event tickets” didn’t eventuate at all for FN or SN.

Redemptions are purely for those purchasing the One Pass/Fright Night bundle.

Correction/update on this. Fast Track prices have increased to $149 (single use mazes) $199 (mazes+rides single use). This does however include access to "Bonus Rooms" in the new mazes (presumably similar to the old UTT rooms).

Didn’t think it was worth making a new thread, but felt it was worth mentioning. VRTP have changed the validity terms for new one pass purchases that they now must be used/activated within 3 months of purchase, all other tickets remain at 12 months.

Dates this year are all Fri/Sat in October plus Thursday the 26th. Fast Track and Season Pass Prices are currently listed as the same as last year.

It wasn't a last min decision, it's been planned for awhile. I don't think theres a chance they are simply choosing not to operate it while waiting for theming, it must need parts and/or Intamin to come out and recommission the ride.

Worth mentioning MW have now listed FT for sale online for the next few months (outside of School Holidays) $79.99 rather than the $149.99 that has been during school holidays lately.

You have your phone or FT wristband scanned and are given a VQ physical card that is collected by the attendant at sort/load. Considering it’s loaded/those screenshots are from the app I doubt they would use the old physical Accesso devices like Dreamworld used to.

Worth noting they are looking at reintroducing it, these were the fast track options listed in the app on the first day of school holidays (that apparently were in testing and not yet ready for the public). Note they do require an amount of waiting similar to how The Flash Pass at Six Flags operates.

This is what I believe is simply what most people are encountering, and it pays to simply try again throughout the day as more availability pops up.

I’m simply saying it’s been consistently available during school holidays since it’s inception and to say otherwise is false. If you’ve never been able to use it whatsoever perhaps look if you do have a genuine technical issue with your app or account.
