i would also love a dark ride but its clear VRTP have moved away - on from dark rides sadly

hopeing not the gold coast already has to many rollercoasters time for something diffrent

yes im sure thay would be and heres hopeing sea vipers replacement is something other then another rollercoaster

not meaning any disrepect but vrtp had just removed all its sbno rides this now means thay have a sbno ride again

perhaps thay are leaveing the cart and dummies in view in the station so it can be seen that thay are working on maybe getting the ride running again in the future haha

my missed and felt to be classic's by myself are lasseters lost mine ride the bermuda trangle warner brothers classics and the great gremlins adventure ( my most missed ride ) batman adventure the ride 1 the looney tunes river ride ( seconed most missed ride ) thunderbolt eureka mountain mine ride ( maybe not lost forever just yet ) seaviper and its not a ride but my most missed classic atraction at dreamworld is the australian country jamborie and i just miss australia's wonderland as a whole

10 years to build another coaster after cyclone ? cyclone opened in 2001 the runaway raptar in 2002 and mdmc in 2007 before buzz saw in 2011 hows that 10 years ?

thing is if dreamworld were to build a 20 million doller atraction im sure alot of people here whould still be unhappy with what ever thay buy be it a coaster or not ? for 20 million i whould love to see dreamworld build a family dark ride something the park has never had other then the big red car but i dont think thats a true family atraction but im sure that could recommission the eureka mountain mine ride for far less then 20 million for now and work on a new big atraction in the future

my thinking behind this is maybe thay have looked into the cost of removeing and replaceing the ride and now may have realised the cost of a referb and recommissioning of the ride mite be the cheaper option

yes it was next to the avalanche where tiger island now stands it had tamp seating stands like tho's used at the v8 super cars at surfer's and i think a in ground pool not sure as it was so long ago now

when movie world first opened it was harf owned by time warner witch would have lead to the way better ride - show standards the park once had but sadly since VRTP took full ownership the standards have dropped to what we see today

most likely to the disused harf the LTRR building that seems to be the storage shed for the 3 parks at the moment anyway

little puff was removed to make way for the tower of terror station and creature cruze ride

its a shame thay were not in the position there in now 10 years ago maybe we whould have seen them save some of - something from wonderland and let it live on in australia not have gone to the scraper - overseas maybe the model T fords - hms endeaver - pirates revenge - zodiac ?

as i said i dont remember if it was head on or not but i am sure that the two trains did hit eachother sometime in the mid 1990's

does anyone remember when the two trains at dreamworld hit eachother head on i think ? but do remember it happening its was sometime in the mid 90's 1994-1995 ? i carnt remember if anyone was killed

looking at the pics sort of reminds you of how the zodiac at australia's wonderland loaded and unloaded

its not the best dark ride we have had at the gold coast parks but the more bad reviews we keep giveing the ride the less likely we are to see vrtp invest in any other dark rides in the future i feel ? but i also agree with everyone who whould love for the original batman adventure the ride to still be at the park but when ever a ride we have all come to love closes theres a 99.9% that the future replacement will never be as good sorry vrtp just the way it is for me anyway

sorry to go off topic but im sorry that you guys my not be abel to get a piece of the sea viper before its scraped but i did get to buy one of the alian robots from bermuda triagle on ebay from guy who won them in the auction early this year its a little beaten up but was the best of the 7 he had for sale i will post some pics soon

I just hope that there are other options in the 7 there looking at that are not a coaster

and yet some of us here are talking about wonting coasters that will not be family friendly ? the park has 2 coasters and the gold coast has more coasters then we need time to think about other ride types that are more family friendly

maybe so but a little forward thinking or better planning would have shown that the sea vipers future was limited the park needs a new family friendly dark ride more then another coaster

what they should have done was closed and removed the sea viper and built the storm coaster in its place and then replaced bt with a new dark ride

oh well seems sadly JL may be the last family dark on the gold coast
