It’s basically busy every day of the years, so there’s pretty much nothing you can do about it. I’ve been to the park twice (during a lower and higher tier) and it was insanely busy both times.

I find it very interesting 100%, but we do know they can make changes to the schedule because Storm Coaster used to close in Feb/March, but they changed it to be mid year because closing it in Winter is smarter.

That reopening schedule has been like the for about the last month. It was originally only supposed to close for a couple weeks, but I believe they are wait in on spare parts to arrive

Which makes me think why do they close it immediately after the Easter holidays. Why not wait another month to close it will it’s still warm enough, and then have it closed for the majority of winter. The park has a major issue with closing too many rides at the same time for maintenance, and this would be a simple solution.

Because Big Brother is going to be airing in November and that’s usually when the wiggles perform at the park!

That cable would be at least 100m long and would be through park guests areas. I get your logic you’re trying to use for this idea, but it’s not that simple or viable. It would need to be a whole new building somewhere else.

It’s used for walk through attractions during Winterfest and Happy Halloween. But I think your under estimating how much room a network needs to operate a show like big brother, and that building is nowhere near big enough

I second this. I’ve been to USS twice (Singapore three times in total), during first visit I got everything done in a day and on the second visit the park was so quiet we were done by mid-afternoon. There is so much to do in Singapore, so I’ve you’ve never been before just spend one day at USS and give that second day you were planning to something else. The zoos are amazing (there are now 5 within the one area of the country), so I would suggest allowing two days for that instead.

In @Ogre latest video they show that they are now testing the second train and it’s under ‘technical rehearsal’. No one was riding the second train at the time of their visit, but it was operating as a duelling coaster.

@omega237 in terms of area, surprisingly yes. But in terms of a simple copy paste, definitely not. The widest part of SNW is 100m, while WoO is 68m at the narrowest and 88m at the widest.

They refurbished the whole ride except for the gondolas, except for some repadding and paint… so there is a chance they’ll do something to the gondolas

I wouldn’t read into the use of that emoji too much because if you look at all of their content, they regularly use it purely because they’re a theme park. They even use a Ferris wheel in one post, but that doesn’t mean they’re getting one.

Or a marketing campaign for a ticket/pass sale

When I was there in person I paid absolutely no attention to that outlet being there. When I looked back at the photo, yes I noticed it, but it in no way impacted my time or experience at the park and I doubt 99% of the people visiting the park would notice or have any issue with seeing it. Yes it would be better if it was completely hidden, but it doesn’t really matter. Maybe we should just appreciate (which you can’t tell from a photo, but notice in person) that they went to the effort of hiding the speakers behind the mesh screens within the stage instead of having them on show.

@ShakeShack I haven’t been looking at that map, I’ve been clicking on the Download PDF where there is an up to date map.

Since that photo was taken, the mural/sign on the stages backdrop has been removed. That tells me they aren’t happy or finished with it yet.

No it doesn’t? The only construction zone it shows is for the train track, which is still under construction.

This has finally changed! On the park map change they’ve now added WWWs park map as a seperate link within the park map page: https://www.dreamworld.com.au/park-information/park-map/

To my understanding they’ve removed those doors as a part of the Emporiums refurb, so inside you wouldn’t even know it’s there. I think what they’ve done is made the best of a bad situation (that was caused by previous management when the Lego store was built). I think it would’ve been nice to have aligned the stages backdrop with the facade above, but I’m sure there reasons for that decision. And while it would’ve been aesthetically even better if they rebuilt the original facade and didn’t have this stage, I can appreciate the need for it as the temporary one has been used multiple times every day and during the night markets for several years now. At least they’ve made an effort to build something permanent that matches the colour schemes and style of Main Street.

Dreamworld are continuing to invest in the parks longevity with improvements and refurbishments happening across the park. All of Main Street is being refurbishment to a much more classic colour scheme. They have finally built a permanent stage after having that temporary one for several years. They will also soon be giving the roof a full refurb. The Emporium, which I believe used to be labelled as two different stores depending if you entered from Main Street or Ocean Parade, is becoming just the one larger store. It’s getting a full refurb to suit the new Dreamworld aesthetic. Currently only the Ocean Parade side is complete, but it is utilising some of the former empty space between the emporium and Lego store. The outdoor seating for Kenny’s Fried Chicken is being upgraded. The right side has been completed, so now it’s the left sides turn. There hasn’t been any recent progress on the track installation for the Dreamworld Express. I asked about this and have been assured it will soon be completing the laps again, there have just been some delays. The Fire Station has had a complete repaint. And shading has been added over some of the pathways in Dreamland.
