Sea World goes Spooky this October

The most Spooktacular event of the year is returning to Sea World this October with Sea World Spooky Nights transforming the iconic Gold Coast park on selected Friday and Saturday nights.

Yeah I did end up going last night.

I didn't purchase any of the special event foods and drinks, but they look super tasty.

There were food outlets and trucks everywhere in the food court so it was hard to choose what to eat between all of them.

I ended up only getting me a BBQ cheese and bacon burger or whatever it's called.

It’s a sell out tonight, but aside from finding seating to eat everything moving fairly smoothly.

will also add the nice new addition that all the meals now come with a drink (and prices have not increased!!) which is great to see! 

Went tonight, getting in the car park was a shitfight. Got to the Southport bridge at 5.30, didn't get into the park until 6.30. The laser/water/firework show was pretty good tbh, better than expected. Lots of atmos around and street performers, not a bad lil event to be honest. Don't have kids so didn't do the treasure trail stuff, just the show, Storm coaster and a good old walk around but all pretty good fun. I must say, Covid protocols really went out the window, more people without masks than with which is concerning considering our current state, is what it is though.

Definitely need to head to park earlier than start as I have learnt at previous events. I crossed the bridge at 5:15 and was in the park by 5:30 and that was after parking across the road and walking over. I Never park in the actually SW carpark, takes forever to get out too. anyone parking across the road take note however ,some plovers have nested on that roundabout - they like to swoop as we found out haha 

 

I thought the covid protocols were as good as can be expected really in that type of environment. Reminders and announcements, requests on entering indoor spaces. Not much else can be done
