To kick summer off with a bang, why not December 11? Dreamworld will be busy the entirety of their summer holiday period as a result...

 

Unless they want to opt with the typical Boxing day opening...

I'm going to guess an obscure Thursday soft opening on 2nd of December.

well my guesses are:

staff previews: 4th-5th December

Soft opening: 8th-12th December

Opening: 13th December

and then pass holder ERT similar to DC rivals and will take place the first week of opening (14th-21st December)

I’m maybe thinking the 18th of December. “Borders are open and so is the all new roller coaster at Dreamworld, Steel Taipan”. Sounds like it would work well for advertising. It would be a smart move imo if DW were to open ST just before the borders open so that are able to promote it in that way. 

December 15 to coincide with the parks 40th birthday.

Number 1 thing the media will cover on December 18th: Covid 19 restrictions.

 

Number 2 thing the media will cover on December 18th: Nothing

Should definitely open before our borders fully open in 17th dec, so I guess Saturday 4 December so steel taipan can get 2 weeks of use so to iron out any problems that turn up before crowds start getting bigger.

I'm going to be the one to say the 26th. 

Because opening earlier would be the smart thing to do and they're the same guys that thought a good replacement to the Wipeout would be more shaded seating.
