I like the suggestion by @pin142  of DWs 40th Birthday. It's the "Nicest" option, and would be a great bit of marketing if there was a giant birthday cake in the ride entry plaza, with fireworks going off and the first train launching.

Northern extremity of Brisbane. On holidays down the coast starting in just over a week, have passes ready to go. Head home on the 3rd and back to hoboing.

anyone have any guesses on when they will announce the opening date?

if they’re wanting to open up on one of the earlier dates out of our guesses im assuming by the end of this or next week we’ll have an announcement? 

I think Dreamworld will announce the opening dates once they 100% know it’s going to open on that specific date. They don’t want another repeat of what happened with Sky Voyager.

I’m guessing soft openings a few days prior and offical on the 15th of December

in Dreamworlds new instagram post (time lapse construction) it says “REALLY ssssoon” this conspiracy may be a stretch but could the amount of S’s indicate how many days till an announcement of the opening date? if so 4 more days which would lead to the 5th, meaning around the 12th could be the most likely opening date… just a conspiracy though most likely wrong

really hoping for a Halo type announcement that soft opens start when they announce it.
