  • Yeah 100% agree with this. Dreamworld need to keep the positivism and momentum that is now currently building with the advent of Steel Taipan. Yes this is a major ride and most likely we will see noth

  • This seems as relevant a topic to post this as anywhere else DW has re-instated the buy 3 get 1 free locals annual pass promo. Only valid on the $129 pass that includes WWW and night events.

  • Yeah I like the idea of a Bluey dark ride and a shoot the chutes ride. Shoot the chutes I love because they are instagrammable. Big spray of water and then non riders can stand on the bridge and

Just calling out, the $387 by 4 people is $97. So, bringing back the sub$100 passes if bought in bulk. Honestly a smart move and would love village to offer a "family pass" pack too.

Family Pass isn’t a bad idea but I would like to see Village offer kids pricing on the One Pass, say $159 rather than $189 in general. The only park ticket with Kids/Concession pricing are the One Day tickets and even then it’s only $10 cheaper.

Family of 4 locals passes to DW will now set you back $387 compared to $756 for the village parks. That's a BIG difference and considering the current state of MW, would make it very hard for people to justify a near doubling of the price.

The thing with that price difference, with the VRTP you get 4 parks all year round (despite one being a glorified farm), plus entry into 3 of their night events. While DWs pass you only get entry to 1.5 parks (as WWW is closed half the year) and an observation lookout. They do offer entry to one of their night events, and discounts/bonuses throughout the year.

So despite their major overall price difference, if you break it down, is the overall value the same?

Then you go to MW and want your money back.

And then you go to SW and realise they’ve only got 3 adult rides and only one of them is worthwhile.

And then you go to WnW and realise half of the attractions there are closed or are so faded they look like they are closed.

Since we're picking this apart, don't forget, Paradise Country and the Dreamworld Wildlife section should pretty much cancel each other out.
