Indeed. Hi. I have to offer my imput, I love the idea of the ice skating rink during Summer. Imagine all the Chistmas decorations! They should also hang some tinsel and decorations over the big face for Chistmas!

Luna park should get the space probe from wonderland... it not big so it wont take up much space... damn those residents 4 complaining and makin the big dipper leave!!!

I reckon that a freefall would be good, but a space shot might be better than the fair worn out SP, it would be better to just pay a bit extra and get a new one. They could put scream guards on the restraints and although they ruin the ride a bit, i wouldnt mind them if it meant the ride could be installed.

This thread is getting very repetitive and I will say it again, Luna Park will not be getting any thrill rides or any tall rides. Space Probe would not fit in with Luna Park’s location and reputation. Mrmoon427 what department do you work in at Luna? "The Bus is now leaving for Other Side Of The Moon, Western Australia"

i agree wonderbus, i mean dont get me wrong, i think that the space probe would be perfect for LUna Park, but it doesnt fit in with the park's reputation as having smaller thrill carnival rides. The space probe as we already know was designed for a space reason with the theming at the top etc. But i think that luna park could make the idea of having the Space Probe work int he park. At this stage any great new thrill ride will make the park better.

i work in the area all you guys are so intreged about rides i mean it is a tough call i have no idea what they could do to the park but at the moment it seems that the generall public are happy with the rides so we will just have to wait and see.

Wonderbus, In light of the Demon being sold overseas, do you have any confirmation on whether Luna Park are purchasing the four former Wonderland rides as was reported earlier and which ones are in the final negotiations?? Cheers Jobe

Thanks Wonderbus, that would be great. Do you or anyone else know if Luna Park are still getting The Mega Drop and the Hard Rock for the Xmas hols? Personally i would love to see them lease the Spinning Coaster and set it up where the Tumblebug currently resides.Move the Tumblebug more to the cliff face and there should be enough room for both rides.This would give Luna 2 coasters again and the only park to have a spinning coaster set up in Australia. Either way this elevated area where the Tumblebug currently resides is heavily under utilised. This would look fairly effective with 2 small coasters facing each other at either side of the midway. My mate works for Luna Park, and all he said was their getting some rides for the Holidays. I dont think it will be anything permanent. My guess is as good as anyones on here. He said it will be a crappy carny ride with the spray painted backround! Mhe... Screammachine

Jobe I haven't heard anything about Mega Drop going to Luna Park for the holidays but they are getting two rides for the duration of the holidays. Once the holidays are over they will make way for the installation of the other rides in the first quarter of the year. "The Bus is now leaving for Quartermaine Island, Western Australia"

Mega Drop would look nice, its a very nice ride for a Fabbri! I give it the thumbs up, its fun for the midway

It was 8 bucks at the Ekka,which is a rip,but it was my first freefall and I thoroughly enjoyed it.Think of the views if something like GD was put in there.

The claw is a really good idea; it's compact, but really intense, and fun!!!! I went on it a the Sydney show this year.
