No they were from the nearest weather station - and from ground level. Winds 200ft up can be substantially higher

Ah. Got it. So you have absolutely no idea what the wind readings were from the coaster's weather monitoring equipment.

The winds were unusually high that day and that’s the day it got stuck. Hope that clears it up for you.

The winds were unusually high at the nearest weather station with an anemometer, but not specifically at the coaster, so this is just more unfounded speculation on your part. You have no evidence whatsoever.

Hmm, I was just in contact with MW about this incident to try, and put the rumours to rest.

Spoke with a great guy, he didn’t know, but was willing to find out for me, however, I was unfortunately told that’s it’s against company policy, to disclose any of that info.

So, let the speculation continue.

I’m going to bet it was big foot that stopped it.
