Is there any fairs coming to Sydney around the hoildays?

Featured Replies

Wondering if there’s going to be any Easter show type things at Sydney in the hoildays? Like with traveling thrill rides and stuff?  Also does Sydney have any dry rides outside of Luna park? Like the Gold Coast has the slingshot and vomit-Tron has Sydney got anything similar?

Thanks!  RWS looks like it’s worth checking out.

Is there any random rides in the middle of the city?

No, there is nothing like Slingshot in the middle of Sydney (because if there was it'd be quickly co-opted by Meriton and turned into boring high-rises.)

Your best bet for attractions in the city are the aforementioned LPS alongside SeaLife, WildLife and Madame Tussaud's alongside the Sydney Tower. Taronga Zoo is also great with some of Australia's best gated theming and atmosphere, but it's a day trip on the ferry to see it all. Otherwise you can also look into the many escape rooms around Sydney CBD. I've personally done a few Mission Escape ones and they're excellent.

If you do decide on the aquarium, pull a big brain move and either go later in the day or first thing as they open and line up an hour earlier. Crowds in those halls are stuffier than Movie World in January with a new ride opening that day. The other 2 (and Centrepoint/Sydney Tower Eye) have practically no lines.
