Theming Fabrication

Featured Replies

Thanks for the link scott. Very interesting, looks as if they did all of Main Street and Looney Tunes.

Yeah, pretty big group. They did alot of stuff here in aus. There are also some good pics there.

Funny how Scooby Doo wasn't themed by them. And everyone who is complaining about Cyclone, GD, and TOT's queue, now you know who to blame.

Well at first the theming would have been good, but DW didn't keep it up. Besides, it's DW who controlled the theming put in.

The TOT theming wasn't all that bad in the first place. It's kinda messed (as Scott said) nowadays. And there wasn't all that much they could have done with the Giant Drop anyway (just looking at the tower is enough pre-ride hype to get me going ;))

Apparently there were tar pits and mammoth skelerons, etc there before but there aren't any now. Wonder why they took them away.

What with the sig? Just google Thunderbolt in images and you'll find it. So does anyone know why the theming elements were removed?

No your sig scotty boy.

"The pre-ride experience is almost as impressive as the ride itself ". 2002 Dreamworld CEO Tony Braxton commenting on the Cyclone rollercoaster.

Oh yeah sorry. I wonder if Braxton actually looked at the pre-ride experience? :)
