thats exactly what i am talking about those pictures are the ride tumble bug known as troika which is located at the front of luna park sydney, and yes it is called tumble bug.

There seems to be a lil bit of confusion....So before anyone draws blood.... There have been two (that I know of.....maybe more?) versions of the Tumble Bug at Sydney's Luna Park. The first was, as Joz said, like an early version of Wizard's Fury... The second, which was part of the park when it reopened in 1995, and still is, is what NightShifter posted some pix of....The same as Troika at Cedar Point....

yes and the one i was referring to in my ultimate theme park is troika because it is some much fun than it looks like richard mentioned. ive never ridden something like that. it is also called scorpion at the sydney royal easter show.

While on the off topic topic, I would like to make an off topic post to bring this topic back on topic... I went on Scorpion at DW when it was there, and I must say it is one of the better carnie rides out there (and I'm qualified to say that being the veteran and expert on the topic that I am). At the end of the day, if it were in RCT, its nausea rating would be around the 7 or 8 mark. To me, it was little more then a more intense scrambler, and although fun, I doubt I'd place it in my ideal park. Each to their own though.
