Yeh I went to Infinity & Spacewalker a few weeks back when I was up there. Both amazingly good. I love this: QUOTE: "Company founder John Newman hopes this new attraction will put them on the map. “Stick with what you know and what you do best. In our case that’s entertaining people. We want our offshore competitors trying desperately to rip our ideas off. That’s when you know you’re on top.” " How he (John Newman) said, "We want our offshore competitors trying desperately to rip our ideas off. That’s when you know you’re on top.".. So true! :)

Their shop was really cool in surfers they had moving hands like thing off the adams family, freddy cruger, jason and other cool things.

Hi Everybody I was in Surfers Paradise the other day and they have now put up a HUGE!!! Banner advertising that this is coming soon also at the theater there is now construction going on over there with walls now up saying something like Pardon our mess while were making Dracula's More exciting. Dose anybody know what is going on over there? Zane "Look's like a good Year For Drac's" Williams

5 level high-tech haunted house including a floor based on the concept of phobias. Construction started only this month but have been initiating famils/joint marketing with them and you'll be extremely impressed with what's in store.

Yeah, the media event happened last week and its been open since Wednesday. The house is really really well themed...the pictures DO NOT do the house justice.

Hey guys I went to the Haunted House on Friday night, and all I can say is I'm really disappointed. It Cost $23 an Adult You start buy walking into a similar waiting area when you watch the Haunted Mansion ride in Disneyland Its all themed out with wall paper, pictures on the walls and glowing lamps. There is a Big Mirror too. The Mirror then lights up with some man from one of the shows introducing the house. Its Badly done and doesn't set the story at all. The Elevator then arrives and Dings and you hop in. It is all themed out to a old style one with bars looking like your going underground and all noises. Then a large amount of air is Pushed on you. Its built onto 5 levels I don't wanna spoil it all, but there are mirror rooms, and dare doors for the people who want a more scary path. Alot of the house is full on artifact rather then scary things like dreamworlds past haunted season attractions. Also some didnt even work, the interactive ones. Something that made me angry with and spoiled the "underground story and feeling" was you have to exit each level through the fire exits...then go down the stairs to each level. It made it not so fun and also you loose the themed feeling. In the End, it took us 30-45 mins to walk through. I give it a 6 out of 10. Infinity is way better for a walk through Attraction This could be made better

Thanks for the review mattcrombie. How would you rate it in terms of scariness? I've always thought that the perceived scariness of the attraction would be its major drawcard; given the obvious budget and experience considerations, a great story with amazing theming would be pretty hard to pull off successfully. The price seems pretty reasonable.

Scariness is low unless you do the Dare Doors. Behind one was the scariest thing I ever saw. No joke. There's a lot "weird" and "freakish" things throughout the house though. I recommend it to everyone who lives in the area and has an afternoon free. Also the themeing is well put together. Each level has its own theme. Each level is accessed by a staircase with a "city/scary" kind of theme... nothing special. Just rock music and a dirty feel.

Well, I'll be posting a video of the first bit very shortly on R-C. I could tell people if they PM me but I would try and wait for the video because words don't really do it justice. (keep in mind though, the video will be unedited and won't be the whole thing...the damn thing lost batteries half-way through)

Firstly The scariness Factor is nothing like a Dreamworld walk through. I think the real people make a HUGE impact on there type of walk throughs they have had in the past like Tomb Raider and Mummy. This one is more or less like a museum of horror items but with some scary stuff. Some things I remember is: A Mirror Room Giant Spider Mummified Meter maids fighting over a Meter to pay it. 1 door did freak me out, it was scared me with the Air in your face suddenly. Most things are done by sensors They also Copy Pirates of the Caribbean in 1 level 1 level is a Morgue/ice room of bodies Last bit is Shark themed. Im not going to spoil this bit, its probably the only good bit.

Hi out there, We went to Dracula's Haunted House last week, and I couldn't be more disappointed. I'm a great fan of the Newman family and have been a regular visitor to all their outlets (the best by far was Cafe Crypt). So I had great expectations of the House. But it falls short on all levels. I truly wanted to ask for my money back. They had a guy working the people in the street, although he wasn't doing much (why didn't he duck in and scare us?). The shop and sales girls were truly great as usual, and as the girl escorted us to the intro area and squealed behind us, that was great, and that's were it stopped. I recon Ripley's was a better display. The automation functioning is so loud, and that was it for the meter maids? I don't know? Maybe they have lost their enthusiasm, then why bother unless you were going to rock our sock off? Especially with that size investment. Poor job Drac's, hope you can save it. Tracey <_<

In the End, it took us 30-45 mins to walk through. I give it a 6 out of 10. Infinity is way better for a walk through Attraction This could be made better
Sorry for the ignorance but you say it's crap and rate it a 6? If it's as bad as u say it is why didn't you give it a 2, 3 or 4?

A 6 out of 10 is a fairly average rating, if he had said it was crap and rated it a 8 out of 10, then it would be contradicting what he said. He was basically implying it was good, but it wasn't as good as he had expected or didn't meet his expectations. I'm not in any major hurry to visit this attraction. I have been past it 2 or 3 times, and I opted to do Infinity with my mates because I at least knew it was worth my money and they wouldn't walk out disappointed. (And they didn't)

It is though. It's not expensive & a lot of fun. And as a new attraction, definitely worth checking out for something different. They've done really well for a family run operation.
