The key thing to note here is the second point that states that the push pull "check shall be carried out with the safety belt unfastened". If the belt has been fastened and has no slack, then the pul

This comment seems to have slipped under the radar, but it answers the question about staff operating seat belts. So thanks @mba2012 for getting it right. If the seat belt is fastened and the str

oh fuck off. You're the first one to come on here and complain about how slow operations are, and how much faster they could be if they just copied *insert overseas park \ ride example here* with

I'm assuming we're seeing both standby & fastback queues in this, hence two ramps. Sorted at the top of the ramps, place items in lockers then grouped at a door? Maybe I'm misinterpreting it?

Possibly, but in that last image I don't see a door from the old locker section, maybe it's further back.

I think you're right - Looking at that video again it looks like there's an opening in that wall section

Time will tell :)

Why isn't anyone asking, how do you have a theme update ready to go, in case the ride goes down for an extended period 🤔

It's not uncommon for businesses to have a list of 'wish list' that are left on hold. Seems like a good idea to do this now if they're expecting a long time to repair on the broken part. (Edit: the MW video says they may not get the changes fully implemented prior to opening, but they'll be progressing the redesign. I guess this means they'll knock that section of wall out before it opens :))

Though it does sound suspiciously convenient, I'm going to be naive and give them some praise, considering how many of us have been criticising the state of the park lately. This is a good thing overall.

It's hard to tell where the photos are gonna be now but from looking over the video I think this is the layout? The first image being the current layout (yellow for queue, blue for lockers and red for exit) and the second image is the new layout (not sure about the exit and where the photo area is)

Pretend the red line is the second photo exits onto the top path like the first image not the bottom pathway. That was an accident

After more analysis I have found out where the photo check station is. (Orange) and made this updated version of the layout. This is the exact layout in the photos but I don't know what it means. (Blue for lockers, orange for photos and yellow for existing path that's still gonna be used)

I am not sure how you will exit the load platform. Probably actually where you exit it now . So ignore where I have it located

My understanding is removing the lockers/doing this update was planned awhile ago, I was told before SE closed for maintenance/flash installation it was happening then so possibly it was delayed for whatever reason and they are proceeding now.

Im a skeptic but I really don’t think VRTP are stupid enough to have SE closed unnecessarily with so much down.

Because everyone watched the video except you.

I'm not implying anything.  I just didn't know MW had super powers.

If only you sought to educate yourself a bit more.

Bang on. I'm usually one of the first to bring out the pitchforks when the park fucks up. The locker upgrade is general trades work. they could do this pretty much any time of year. There's no specialised skills (by this I mean like ride engineering, etc) so it could literally slot in whenever there was an opportunity.

If there is a mechanical fault with the launch - which of course is completely understandable given the likes of TT2 and XCelerator, (the ride is getting on in years), and Intamin have said its going to take X period of time to fix \ ship parts \ send techs out to look at it - if you already had this in your back pocket for, say - once Oz was open - why wouldn't you bring it forward?

Is that taken in ultra wide? Didn't realise it was that big of a space.

Looks like they've started surveying the walls (assuming that the white pieces of paper on the SM logo and the back wall in the doorway above the wet floor sign) for precise measurements etc... only a matter of time before I think we'll see a skip bin come and the work walls back up probably around the whole ride plaza but leaving FSF's exit accessible. Also a bit weird that all the lights are on... are they usually always left on inside there?

MW currently has the ride listed to reopen on the 1st of July... doubt the queue will be ready by then but it does seem like it's only demolition of some non-load bearing walls installing 'pigeonholes' with a sliding door, bit of painting, replastering and some metal railings but then again the concepts that MW has shared don't really fully show how the space will work still looking forward to this much needed improvement! and of course riding the ride again.
