Dreamworld Passport

Featured Replies

The NEW Dreamworld Passport has officially landed and it’s your mission to track down stamps across the park to build the ultimate collector’s item.

Right now, you’ll find different stamps hiding at:
📍 Main Street Emporium
📍 Guest Services
📍 Wild Adventures

But this is just the beginning… new stamps will drop every month, PLUS limited-edition stamps will pop up at events throughout the year 👀

Grab your passport for just $5 from Main Street Emporium, Guest Services or online

It’d be great if they expanded it into something more like the world showcase passport at EPCOT. My youngling absolutely couldn’t get enough of it. She loved collecting the stickers and reading the little messages the characters wrote for her. She even brought her passport along on our Disney Cruise Line cruise, and the characters kept adding messages and little notes in it.

This is something Featherdale's been doing since at least i was a kid.

I think it's an idea that could be well executed if the park plays things right. While at Featherdale, everyone gets one at the gate and the whole thing is paper, the park is spaghetti, so you need to hunt for it. I think $5, while cheap, is too steep, and should be something everyone gets with a minimap at the back, or put a booth handing them out in the former store of SV. Dreamworld is mostly a loop of sorts, and can encourage people to head past Janes/GD by putting the stamps in less travelled areas. Think places like the back section of the nocturnal house to kind of tell people "hey to get this stamp, you need to explore the park a bit more intensely and look places you may not have even known existed".

We just finished up in Shanghai Disneyland and they had a passport you could take to each location and get stamped - though each location had a special machine that validated the passport as genuine before it would electronically stamp the book - so you couldn't get stamps unless you purchased the book.

Locations weren't marked on a map - you had to search for them based on riddles in the passport so it was an extra level of difficulty too. If you got them all, you got a special multi-coloured stamp at the exit commemorating their 10th anniversary.

I agree its a really clever idea - the Dreamworld one is lower tech, but set up perfectly to keep adding new stamps for various events and occasions so the fun keeps going as long as management keep it up - I just hope this doesn't quietly disappear like many other park initiatives have over the years - getting a few new stamps made each year shouldn't break the bank but would really plus the experience for long time regular visitors as something new each time.
